Making a Difference...

New Life Church is working in partnership with Compassion International, The Beacon of Hope project, (a humanitarian aid and education project in the village of Sanar in Senegal), the School Support Scheme and many other projects, as part of a larger global effort to Make Poverty History and to bring wholeness to our local community and wider world. We would love you to be part of it.

Compassion International

Compassion is a child sponsoring organization. Children are clearly the greatest victims of poverty. Of the 2.2 billion children in our world today nearly half of them live in desperate conditions. But it is these children who hold the potential to break the cycle of depravation for future generations.
Compassion has over 50 yrs experience of working with the some of the poorest communities in the world. During that time more than one million children have been assisted by Compassion.

In 2010 New Life Church members began sponsoring children from two villages in Ghana, as well as individuals around the world. If you would like to sponsor a child please contact matt@nlccuk.org

Schools Support Scheme

New Life Church sends its own Training Academy students into local schools in order to assist and support teachers in the local area. If you have a passion to help, equip and serve our next generation of youth please contact matt@nlccuk.org

Pastoral Care

Caring for, and being cared about, is at the heart of our church. There can be seasons when extreme issues and situations are overwhelming, so we are here to come alongside you, providing support. Whether you’re experiencing a crisis, or you’d just like someone to talk to, we understand, and would love to support, encourage and pray for you.
Much of the pastoral care in our church takes place through weekly life groups, small groups which gather together in various locations across the south coast for teaching, food, and fellowship. If you would like to be part of one of these life groups then email lifegroups@nlccuk.org or complete the form on the Life Groups page.

Senegal News Update

Below is recent letter sent to the Church from Maweja and Charlotte who head up the work NLCC help fund in Senegal.

"Greetings in the name of Lord Jesus.
We send some photos for the church and the school. Everybody is fine. We organized a youth camp in church a fortnight ago with almost 40 participants, the majority living and sleeping in the church compound. The theme was 1Timothy 4:12 "Be the model". There were prayer and praise meetings, conferences, teachings and diverse games on the bible study. The camp ended with a Haitian dinner cooked by the Haitian students. Everything went well, praise God. On the photos you can see the certificate sand the tee-shirts we made being distributed by Charlotte and one church member to the participants. Also, we've started some repair work in the school and are preparing Christmas celebration; a few presents will be bought and given to the children. We're also cleaning the annex as we want to start the small medical centre building works soon. During the works, a big lizard was killed inside the classroom; you can see him on the photo. Olivier and Elisabeth's wedding will be on December 17th in Dakar; please, pray for them.
We send our love to the church and all your families.
In Christ.
Maweja and Charlotte."
